Another Header

The Photokore stock photography library in Asia, is using another of my images on their homepage in the revolving header graphic.

The image is a 2 part comp. I set up the room shot and then went up to Twin Peaks to get the shot that you can see as the city scene in the background.

The Model is Raymond Lee from San Francisco. You can see the un-cropped image below.

Air BnB Campaign Shoot in Kent, UK

After spending the night in London, we traveled down to Kent to shoot a series of scenes. The film crew would capture footage for the film and I would get the still shots for the media campaigns. It was a fresh and beautifully sunny day as we arrived for lunch at The Bull . After a hearty pub lunch it was time to continue with work. The location was a beautifully converted windmill and we would be working with a child and with an animal. For this shoot you can disregard all the sayings about working with children and animals. This all went well and I would happily work again with the girl and the cat talent anytime. The cat was up first and with the help of the cat wrangler, we were able to get a whole range of usable poses for the kitchen window shot. Totally Exposed

How I cleaned up my act. Fiddlesticks! (This is a family show people). I've got dirt on one of my camera sensors and I have an important assignment to shoot tomorrow. After poring through some of my photography magazines and doing some research on the web, I'm now convinced that if I try to clean my sensor myself I will totally screw up my camera and void my warranty! I know, I'll just shoot with one camera tomorrow and address sensor cleaning another time. But what if my shutter jams, or I drop my camera, or any number of catastrophes befalls the camera I take. I could take one of my other cameras as a back up but for the assignment I'm doing I'll be more comfortable with the choice of lens and camera body I had originally planned to use. Also I'm feeling that Murphy's law is just itching to get a look in. Ok Roi, it's your professional responsibility to manage risk on behalf of the client. Rats! (Family show people). Recently published - "Is this George Michael?"

I just received an email from James Madelin to let me know he has updated his company's site and one of my pictures is featured in his product's promo gallery . And who is James Madelin ? If you haven't already followed the link, he's the CEO of the company that created and produced the Orbis Ringflash system. The picture featured on the Orbis website James saw this picture on my Flickr photostream and saw in the descrpition that I had lit the shot using an Orbis Ringflash . He contacted me to discuss usage for his website. The conversation went well and now the image is live. I delivered the file un-captioned, and without any prompting, the Orbis team came up with the caption, "Is this George Michael ?" Well is it?
